If you're a self-motivated individual with sales experience, ideally within the advertising industry, talk to us about working with our dynamic and friendly team. We are seeking an Advertising Sales Manager to sell, manage and develop in their region. Operating on a freelance and commission basis, you have all the flexibility you need to earn – and we'll brief you on the compelling range of advertising options you can offer to local businesses.

You should have a strong working knowledge of digital advertising and the experience and credibility to be able to present yourself and the opportunity in an authentic and enthusiastic manner. You would also require excellent customer relationship management skills.

  1. Research prospects and manage calls list
  2. Find out who controls the advertising budget in target organisations and contacting them
  3. Offer a price and negotiating around it
  4. Close the deal and recording the details
  5. Initiate discussions with customers through emails, calls, and scheduled meetings
  6. Deliver sales pitches convincing clients to subscribe for an advertising space
  7. Highlight the benefits of various ad services and their capacity to reach a target market
  8. Provide clients with advertising sales materials to aid them in choosing appropriate service
  9. Explain the features of available ad space and their accompanying rates
  10. Carry out market research to identify new techniques to advertising sales
  11. Collaborate with the rest of the team to seek different ways to promote and market in your region.
  12. Maintain good working relationship with clients to ensure effective business dealings
  13. Database management

Applicant must have:

  1. Good Communication skills
  2. A good telephone manner
  3. Persuasive ability
  4. Confidence and an outgoing personality
  5. The ability to build relationships with customers
  6. Diplomacy and patience
  7. Be good with numbers
  8. Previous Telemarketing/Telesales experience is crucial
  9. Need to be a self-starter without the need for supervision
  10. Ability to work at home
  11. An internet connection and laptop/work station is essential
  12. High standards and proven Track record in achieving
  13. A tenacious character, with unwavering optimism and motivation
  14. Be confident in picking up the telephone and closing a sale
  15. Be methodical and know the importance of a comprehensive, current database
  16. You must be able to bounce-back from rejection in a well-mannered and gracious way
  17. Expectations: an ability to work a minimum of 6 hours per week
  18. Assist at Events - to be paid separately
